Shaheen is a NYC-based filmmaker. She freelances with small production companies and independent clients, mostly editing, but also coordinating production, assistant producing, managing media as DIT on set, and shooting interviews and music videos.
Currently she’s editing a feature documentary,#dalitwomenfight!, about casteism and sexual violence in India and putting all her remaining energy into bringing Rear View Mirror to screen. You can see some of her work here.
Anisha is a writer and interactive educational producer.
She is a published short fiction writer. Her work has appeared in Queer Ink India, Anthology of Asian and African Writers, Talk Magazine, Everyday Fiction, and Reading Hour Magazine. She sold two comic scripts to Pop Culture Publishing, and one to Mid-Day (Mumbai). Her short Bollywood-inspired film, ‘Aapka Kya Hoga?’ screened the the Trikone Queer South Asian Film Festival in Chicago (2012).
She is originally from India and tries to read at least one non-English book a year.
